The article characterizes the types of interventions and the number of hours of them received by school-age children diagnosed with autism, who participate in a large-scale study in several different places, and whose study does not have an intervention component.

Using Functional Communication Training to Reduce Self-Injurious

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of training in functional communication on the self-injury behavior of children on the autism spectrum (ASD). Functional communication training was used, and low demand procedures were added to the original method.
