Examining adaptations necessary to support the implementation of a parent-mediated intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder and moderate feeding problems

This study examined adaptations to the program (MEAL- Managing Eating Aversions and Limited Variety Plan) that can improve its adoption, implementation and maintenance within a parent-mediated intervention for children with ASD and moderate food selectivity (ie the MEAL program) in an interdisciplinary sample of a community. A second objective was to examine factors that may support or hinder the translation of the MEAL program into community practice.
